I’m ready to sign up. How can I become a cat—or at least sleep like one?

For a cat: if it’s warm, you can sleep on it.

If you’re there and unaware, you’re recruited.

the socks are drawn perfectly to convey sleeping. How do you do that?

They do not recruit Cats. They recruit Sofas.

… or keyboards, boxes, armchairs, sunbeams, the list is endless. I believe it to be a contest of… where have I not slept, yet?!

I love being recruited. Either one will do. Early cat gets the lap.

Only one of my cats like to sleep on me.

I swear, if cats do have nine lives, they’re only awake for one of them.

I miss my cat…especially this morning as I lost power shortly after 4 am and didn’t get it back until 9. ‘’Dam Cat’’ would love to get onto my lap without me even realizing it. Now it’s just me and the dog…..but no more pets after this. I love them, but it is a big responsibly and after 50+ years I need a break.

I think they got me!

I call it “log-rolling”, because I toss and turn and the cat stays on top. It takes an effort to convince a cat it can be just as warm and a lot more peaceful to sleep by my side.

Cat recruitment: Be all that you can be.

She seems to be the sleeper candidate.
