He is just wonderful again today , but , how can anyone not just love Buckles and Jill in the third panel ? Their expressions are so cute . And his eyes in the last panel are just precious : )
Responsible dog owners know better than to put enticingly edible garbage in the indoor can! Jill should put the outdoor trash can in yard instead of putting Buckles out in the yard.
It’s not fair to a dog or cat to leave any food that might pique their interest. Some foods are toxic to them, some can choke them, and some dogs are prone to bloat. I am glad I had a trash compactor put in my kitchen, and nothing that can rot goes in there. I don’t want rotting food near where I cook. Just trash, not garbage. Cats and dogs probably think anything left within reach is fair game. Buckles seems to understand that better than his people do.

At least this time you’re outside instead of in the basement Buckles.

It’s your fault Jill for leaving the trash where Buckles could get into it!

That’s like a kid with a baseball bat telling his mother that her special vase was too tempting to hit! (I said “like,” not “exactly to a tee of.”)

Imagine if Adam and Eve blamed God for leaving the forbidden fruit in reach.

Edible garbage in the garbage disposal or in the freezer until pick up day…other paper/glass/plastic garbage in waste basket under the kitchen sink.
