We haven’t had really major snows in several years but this year is making up for it. Having lived in MN for 30 years, I know how to drive on and through it but this last week is providing a fine course of reminders.

First time my car alerted me about the temp being below 40, I spent ten minutes trying to figure out why it dinged at me. Then i saw the little snowflake next to the temp. Cute.

Nothing like driving an old VW Bug for simple. Had one years ago that got stolen and I still look for it on the road. Yes I feel safer in my SUV, but totally lost when it comes to all the displays on the dashboard. Yeah, I’m old.

My Mazda-5 thinks it’s smarter than me. We argue a lot.

All I know is the backup camera is the single greatest invention in automotive history. I think it even surpasses the wheel!
