I have always wanted to live in a cul-de-shack.

That is absolutely true. Happens every time it snows.

Our cul-de-sac is a mile long and has 30 houses. We don’t see a snow plow and we will never see fiber optic cable.

Literally translated, it means “bottom of the bag”.

The Boy Scout will be there in snow time.

Down here it means “last to be attended to by the mosquito truck.”

6 in our cul-de-sac most of us disabled in some way. Saved a long time to get my ATV snowplow. Now I get my 110 ft driveway and everyone else’s. It’s a tough job, but somebody’s got to do it. YEE HAW!

I thought it meant ’you’re on your own’.

That is the truth, or even never to be plowed.

I thought it was Latin for vasectomy.

It’s also one of my favorite comic strips.
