I know how that goes. I play the long game of outlast. A nursing professor said she didnāt think Iād make it in nursing. I proved her wrong. The game of Outlast is relevant: outlive your opponents.
I have never failed. Failing isnāt about falling down; itās about not getting back up. I have always gotten back up, but sometimes I am facing in an entirely different direction.
Someone I had been good friends with started treating me like garbage . So I cut ALL ties with the person ! Said person tried everything possible to get back into my life (even being super sweet to me ) . But Iām too smart.
One of my college professors liked to tell stories about his Grandfather, a bit of a Curmudgeon.
one was the fact that Granddad always read the Obituaries first thing in the morning so he could check to see if any of his Enemies had died the previous day.
He had made it his personal goal to outlive everyone he disliked and was checking them off his list, day by day.

āI had a dream
But it turned to dust
What I thought was love
That must have been lust
I was living in style
When the walls fell in
When I played my hand
I looked like a joker
Turn around
Fate must have woke her
āCause lady luck
She was waiting outside the door"
