The head is quite smaller for it to be life-size.

I’m amazed Linus is still standing.

I feel like if there were another panel, it would be of Lucy punching Linus in the face for that.

And why would Linus be talking Lucy out of it?

I had stopped reading the Peanuts strip back in the mid-70s (School, college, busy party boy) and thought Linus was beyond thumb-sucking and security blanket-wielding by this time (1977)…

The line in the last panel is something I would expect Lucy to say.
