I am curious, tho, whether anybody knows if Joe Biden has a problem with his vision. He sure wears dark glasses a lot. I know he’s been dealing with a stutter his whole life, maybe the shades are for a different physical ailment. Of course, these are fairly trivial, non-limiting afflictions, not even as bad as what put President Franklin Roosevelt and Texas Governor Greg Abbott in wheelchairs, and certainly not as serious as the problems that Stevie Wonder, Helen Keller, and Stephen Hawking had to overcome to be amazingly competent and productive members of society.

The only thing, and I mean the only thing, Biden should take the blame for with inflation is that he couldn’t get Congress to pass a Windfall Profits Tax. We haven’t had actual inflation since the Fall of 2021 once the global economy started to catch up after the pandemic. Of course, that was mostly a Republican-controlled House that wouldn’t think of passing it. Over 50% of the price hikes corporations have done in the last 2 years has gone to profit meaning they’ve jacked prices over double what their costs have grown, and that’s up and down the supply chains so it is way worse at the store than it should be.

Now tRump has ordered the retrumpliqons not to pass the latest border bill. He wants the problems to continue so he can complain about them. It will clear the senate ok. In the house, it would just take half a dozen or so Republicans to say their job is to do what’s right for the country, and not just what tRump orders them to do. With the house Democrat caucus, it would pass.

“Fox lies” are synonymous with “lie if you can” just like trump

I have decided to vote a straight Democratic ticket, that’s how much I distrust the republican establishment.
