I do texts sometimes when I see them, I don’t get too excited. It’s a perk!

I’ve received texts days after they were sent.

In that case, Thorny’s glad he didn’t shorten and ruin his two-hour lunch.

After all of these year doesn’t Rancid know that Brutus is a slow reader?

Text is best effort, and can take days to be delivered. In at least one incident text messages were delivered years later after a computer was rebooted.If it is urgent then call.

I thought text was for non urgent messages. I seldom look.

The Boss should not have sent it to Brutus’s spam folder.

You think he would be happy that Brutus wasn’t always on his phone.

Brutus was busy doing the urgent work you assigned him first thing this morning, Boss!

Brutus does not answer text when discussing important matters (Super Bowl) at the ole coffee station. 49ers and Chiefs? Close shave. Hard to go against Mahomes. No matter which team wins, it should be “well done” for all the players. Be safe and blessed.

Veeblefester should know by now, there are only so many “urgent” matters our hero can handle at one time. If he wanted the latest urgent matter dealt with, then he should have told our hero.

If it was urgent Rancid could/should have (a) picked up the office phone or (b) got off his entitled a** and walked down the hall. I know many people who don’t look at their personal cells at work.

The definition of “just a minute” depends which side of the bathroom door you are on.

If it was an urgent matter, you should handled it with a sense of urgency and delivered it personally.

I put my phone in silence mode when I take my after-lunch nap. Then I enjoy peace and quiet until I remember to turn the ringer on again, sometimes several hours!

If it’s sent in a text, it’s not urgent. Urgent get a phone call or personal visit.

There can’t be too many emergencies in the tea cozy biz. It sounds like the problem solved itself, so back off, Bossman! Go find someone else to kick around today! (I am really not in a bad mood. More of a protective one.)
