Now that is a reason to celebrate.

At least he didn’t take the tree down with his weight, like he did in a strip a few decades ago. Think he said “Maybe I should go on a diet” after the tree he tried to climb, crashed on top of him.

It is treemendously happy!

I’ve liked this series. Davis hasn’t really done a series like this in a while.

That tree must be descendant from the kite-eating tree Charlie Brown bit in the Peanuts arc that’s apparently ended with today’s strip.

It could be worse, it could be one of the talking trees from “The Wizard of Oz”.

Didn’t realize the climbing urge was that strong! Just after spending a week in a tree, and falling out, you are pulled to climb back up again!
