How long does it take to count 76 million salmon? Do they use a calculator? Or, like… count on their fingers?

87 years old, pretty impressive paddling the length of the Mississippi, but I presume he was going with the current not against it…The number of salmon getting to Bristol Bay may be a record for recent times but probably not back in the times before the overfishing, pollution, damming, and other problems for salmon took place.
