I’ve lost a few pounds. But I keep finding them again.

Well i feel so much better now since i’ve given up hope!

In my experience, despair weighs infinitely more than hope . . . so . . . nice job losing hope without gaining despair, I guess . . .

It’s like a weight´s been lifted off my chest.

Don’t forget youthful idealism, zeal, zest for life, or determination to do the right thing no matter what.

Bob Hope weighed more than that…

Does that mean he’s hope-less?

My understanding is that hope is light.

That’s good. Nothing worse than flabby hope.
