I have a very old digital clock with the date on it. It just has month and day. It doesn’t have the year on it. It changed to March 1st at midnight. I had to reset the date to February 28th so it will correctly change to March 1st when it gets to midnight again.
If born on 29th Feb, you can legitimately state you are 10 years old when you are actually 40. In reality you have to choose whether to celebrate your birthday on either 28th Feb or 1st March. I think I’d choose 28th as it’s still in the same month (even though you’ve aged a year a day early. So confusing

I think it was the Little Orphan Annie comic strip where it was announced she was born on Feb 29th to explain why she ages so slowly.

My grandmother only celebrated 20 birthdays because she was born on Leap Day. By that measure, she was younger than my second wife. :)
