When I was little, I would look into those slanted mirrors in shoe stores, and think how great it would be to live in a land where everything was slanted 45 degrees!
I’m reminded of the sci-fi writer Kilgore Trout who maintained that mirrors were portals to another universe. He called mirrors “leaks.”
