Hi Cappers!

It’s been a long time since I was first to comment at the turnover. In fact, I think the last time I was first was when I made the very sad announcement about our Affie passing away. It has now been over a year and his lack of presence is still so strong. I had known him since 2012 and every day he used to leave a comment for me and missed me when I didn’t post. I remember him saying “If you don’t post, I am going to sulk :O)”

I still miss him so much. I was really glad not long ago when somebody managed to find his comment where he stated what his favourite nosh was. I have my own favourite nosh twice a week. Tuesdays and Fridays so I’ll be having it today! I may or may not state what my own favourite nosh is. It’s a weird food combo but totally delicious to me. All depends how many Likes this comment gets really…

I apologise for not being here very much these days, I totally forgot yesterday. I must have a life now or something ;-) I am participating in Lent for the 3rd time. It started nearly 2 weeks ago. I have come off social media and don’t even plan on going to the hairdressers until it’s over. I have another whole month to go yet.

I’m off to bed now. If you haven’t noticed, I’m back to pulling all nighters ;-)

Flo certainly doesn’t want to be listening to Andy’s atrocious singing all night and neither do her neighbours, Alan.

Oh throw him in the canal.

The cells are already full of Andy’s drunken victims… (And Affie, I hardly knew ye! I guess I didn’t actually…)

How about taking him back to The Rose and Crown where he and Guitar Bob could do a medley of Peter and Gordon’s and Chad and Jeremy’ greatest hits? Dilly! Dilly!

But where’s ELDO?

Flipping to see who has to put up with Andy isn’t a bad idea.

The answer is “Yes”, Alan. Flo likes good singing. But Andy’s doesn’t qualify.

So that’s his get out of jail free voice.

Andy fancies himself as Arnold George Dorsey better known as Engelbert Humperdinck.

Too bad Flo didn’t suggest cards. We could have Kenny Rogers sing in the background!

Don’t blame Flo for letting Andy go to the cells

It’s good to read the Cappers almost back in full form. Things haven’t been the same since we lost Affie, and Eldo and rjm left. I look in over at Creators, but there is a limited number of commenters so it isn’t always lively in the same way. Happy Tuesday Cappers.
