Hmm, looks like the young ladies are quickly finding out while they truly like each other they definitely have distinct views about being tidy and such and will probably find out they have other differences of opinions as well which can be a good thing in a friendship or a relationship as opposites have been known to attract. However, this is not necessarily “The Odd Couple” by any means but it will be interesting to see where this goes….

Kat comes off as kind of clueless and insensitive in this arc.

I wouldn’t go so far as insensitive…Clueless, pre-teens can be kind of oblivious that what they think of as normal may not be.

Kat’s rank as best character in reboot in HotC is now at risk for that.

In our home the rule was that eating was done at a table, even the snacks. No mindless eating in front of a screen or when we went to the movies. We never ate in the car either. I just don’t understand this American custom of constant eating.

I was brought up that way, and my kids are following those rules in their homes today.

Ants can show up anywhere. Even in a clean room.

Kat, ants are some of the scariest creatures on earth. Only termites are worse.

Ants are a total pest. I bait them every time they come in the house. I am sure the nest is under it, so out comes the Terro constantly.
