And will Ramadan enter into the story line? As in Christianity and Judaism there are different levels of observance in Islam. A very observant family will not eat from sunrise to sunset – I could see that in a story line… If we ever get a story line and not just random strips.

Sorry, off on a tangent. Islam uses uncorrected lunar calendar for its holidays, so Ramadan moves through all our months. Years ago I was in Jerusalem on an archaeological dig during Ramadan. They fire off a cannon at dawn to tell the faithful to stop eating, and another at sunset to say, “chow down.” Early morning, and I’m walking through the old city to the dig site and I hear BOOM. You don’t want to hear BOOM while walking in Jerusalem. They explained the cannon thing to me after the pulled me out from under the park bench.

We used to frequent an Indian restaurant that was owned by Muslims. During Ramadan, they would give you extra food with your meal. The owner told me they always overcooked for the evening feast and had tons left over.

When are we going to see strips focused on Hinduism and Buddhism? And atheism? Got to include everybody.
