I was doing some yard work in the front yard a couple of days ago when I noticed that a womanâs voice was getting louder and louder. Within a few seconds a woman came around the corner of my street, walking with her hand sticking out in front of her and listening to her cell phone on speaker (turned up loud!). All I got from the conversation in the 1 minute or less that she was near enough to me, was a womanâs voice confessing that she knew that what she had done was wrong and she regretted having a âone-night-standâ, but her boyfriend had no business making her⊠blah, blah, blah. Dang it all! Never did hear the end of the end of the story! Funny!
I never have conversations on my cell when out for the daily walk with the dog. No one needs to hear one side of any conversation I am having with anyone save for public coffee houses and the like, and even then youâd hear both sides. Now I will take texts however, but only when my dog and I reach the park and need to sit for a moment.

From Not Always Right_: I Do, But The Transport Fees Are Ridiculous
Iâm on the phone with a client.
Client: âWait, let me make a note of that. Do you have a pen I can borrow?â
Me: âAre you talking to me?â
Client: âWho else would I be talking to?â
Not my story. Besides, at this time of night mt phone is on âdo not disturbââŠâŠ..

Really, Agnesâdo you want to become another slovenly teen buried in a phone, like Chip Flagston or Jeremy Duncan?
