No horse sense.

Chess when I thought it was safe to go out.

It can be a bit more dangerous at knight time on the streets.

Not even Queen for a day.

Because in the game of chess, the knight (or horsey, as some call it) moves one square forward, then two to the side, or vice verse (two, then one).

And THAT, my friends, is the joke.

Watch out for the dark knight in the dark night.

But he no gets to choose his move. For he but a mere pawn in the hands of his master.

The King and Queen have gone out for the night

On other hand, if it moves at all it’s gone.

Doom lurks around the corner.

So the fortune teller’s joint has to have a back door. It’s the only way the pawn could go in AND out.

On the “up side,” you get to become a KING as you get wiped off the board.

It looks like it’ll be his last Knight on earth.

Not in your lifetime, pawn!

That does not look like a knight in shining armor for him.

cute – one doesn’t see a chess joke very often, especially one that is plausible

It’s a rookie mistake.

Everybody has to make a sacrifice eventually.

Pawn only Mongo in game of life.
