I used to love college basketball and the tournament. After they adopted one and done, I’ve lost interest. No more team building, just chasing the money.
College sports can be a big a money maker. Especially since they use unpaid (except for scholarships) professionals. Go Dartmouth basketball. They just formed an union. Maybe now they can get their fair share.
Sports – the greatest contributor to teaching our youngsters about life. The kids look up to their idols – you know, the ones convicted of using drugs, domestic abuse, assault, attempted murder, gambling, greed and corruption – yup, and now it’s come into the colleges – what used to be an example of good conduct and teamwork is now being exploited for the almighty $$$
I purposely married a man who is not into sports. His hobbies are building things and helping people. (retired firefighter, master electrician). A friend married a golfer. Dude is never home. She’s divorcing him.
In my opinion, they should get rid of the STUPID conference tournaments and go to 96 teams. The bottom 64 would have played 32 games this weekend, while the top 32 get a bye into the round of 64, starting Thursday.

I’d rather stare at the cats litter box than watch sports on TV

I prefer to be doing things. The hell with sports on TV, especially the now-professional college sports.
