Take the stupid discount!

My husband and I were both asked about the discount before we were eligible for it. After a few times of being honest and saying we weren’t eligible yet through gritted teeth we decided that if they asked, we’d take it. Now we both are legitimately eligible.

I faked my I.D. when I was a teenager and I faked my senior discount as well. Use it to your advantage!

I turn prematurely grey when I was around 45 and I got Senior Discounts because of it. I didn’t mind one bit.

Early dementia?

Some establishments give senior discounts at age 55, though I think Morris is older.

More are giving a ‘Veterans Discount’, also (either one or the other, not both) ! ! !

if someone wanted to give me a senior discount I took it. Saving money was more important than my vanity.

One farm town I lived near, the senior discount started at 80 yo. As David F. said, “The weak ones died young.”

I couldn’t WAIT til I could get the senior discount!

I’ve noticed since becoming a “senior citizen” that many places no longer offer the discount. I think this is because there are so many that qualify now .

I got carded buying beer for a friends cook out. I had their 13 year old son with me. He laughed as his father was gray and younger than me.

I stay young by refusing the discount. LOL

I turned 80 this month and never get offered a discount. But, the last time I was carded for booze, I had a kid in high school, so I guess it all evens out.

Good luck finding a place that offers them anymore.
