…and well deserved. Even today at the park, I saw a woman having to reign in her tiny pooch that was having a barking fit at a German shepherd that was walking by- and paying him no mind.
A neighbor’s dog visited outside our fence the other day (to send a dmail), and for the first time, our nine pound Pomeranian used her warning bark. She has the tone and timbre of a big dog! I never expected that from her excited singing when her leash comes out. For that, she’s a soprano.

I might buy and read it. A realistic unlikable and flawed hero solving a case before he reaches a miserable demise. No sequel to dread.

The annoying part should work. That was Columbo’s trademark — pester the perpetrator till he/she confesses.

I fear this is true, if my Shih Tzu is an example. When she spots a mourning dove in front of “her” window, she yaps loudly and does her doggy dance.
