A backhanded reference to the destruction of the Bamiyan Buddhas by the Taliban in March of 2001.

Interesting when you consider that last week a copy of Action Comics #1 changed hands for $6,000,000.00

america would NEVER preclude women being treated by doctors for stupid religious reasons.

It’s funny because america is currently totally doing that (RE access to abortion) and also it’s not funny.
