Hilarious and amazing Moment?

If I use the Marie Kondo method of only keeping that which “sparks joy”, I still can’t downsize. Because I like the things I have in my living room.

Busted! No self-respecting Michigan kid will use the word “sneakers”. It’s tennis shoes or nothing!

We buy stuff.

Then, we have no space for said stuff.

So we get rid of stuff.

Then we have space for the stuff we just bought.

But, we go buy more stuff, because the stuff we bought didn’t fill in the space the stuff we got rid of was inhabiting.

Spring cleaning the garage, have a huge pile ready for the dump, two loads have gone to goodwill and one load to Habitat for Humanity. Still a little more to go. Once I have that space emptied out it will be filled with a sauna. I am tired of my joints hurting all the time and the heat helps. I could go back on the pain meds, but I really dislike taking them for years at a time.

Junk accumulates in direct proportion to the area available to contain it. Maybe why I have no flat areas in my home that isn’t covered in junk?

So bad assumption didn’t happen until the third panel. More space doesn’t encourage more buying.
