cake! what cake? itis amazing how guilty a dog can look when caught red-pawed!

Our first dog got up on the kitchen table and ate almost an entire pineapple upside-down cake. We didn’t see it happen; we surmised it after we found the empty pan.

I hope it didn’t have chocolate in it!

Reminds me of the pair of Rottweilers we had. The female decided to help herself to a cupcake my wife had baked. When my wife discovered the theft, she gave the male one and put them outside. I could have sworn I saw them giving each other a high five. (yes, my wife took the paper off the cupcakes so the dogs didn’t choke. the one the female had been holding was apparently a soggy mess though)

You should know better than to leave food unguarded with Marmaduke around.

There are so many clips on TV’s America’s Greatest Home Videos that show a dog close to a person eating something with the dog looking at the food. The second the person looks at the dog, the dog turns his / her head away as if not to notice. ;-p
