Reminded me of the hamburger dilemma. Many thought a quarter pound patty was larger than a third pound patty. Their reasoning, 4 was larger than 3.
If it was a marketing class, she would be explaining why 6/8 is two times better than 3/4.
That’s what I like about fractions…..you can multiply the tops and bottoms by the same thing no matter what and they are still the same ole fraction.
