I know a fellow that meets this description. Sadly he committed suicide this summer. He managed to run off everyone that wanted to befriend him. He was in his 60s. All ever talked about was his failures in life and who he resented.

….grew up to be a sad little man that no one liked, but owns a big house, drives a sports car and married a supermodel thanks to all the money they made from writing angsty novels, screen plays and radio dramas

So sad that he can’t even afford a tv?

And now you know …. the rest of the story.

Is that the “Doesn’t life suck?” hour?

that’s the story of my life right there.

except eventually I went from sad to angry.

Except he got elected president.

Therefore millions of people liked him.

Although he did make a fortune on NPR telling sad, insipid stories.

Well, that’s encouraging…

He just needs a friend.

I was a sad little girl. Who grew into a sad adult. Then I went to a psychiatrist.

Not a good bedtime story, it would scare the beejeezus out of me.
