Proves how unfeeling Granny Picklepuss really is!

BTW, what became of Agnes’ “masterpiece” from last week?

Her pillow is a bag of damp chicken feathers. Good times? Ha!

Mr. Cochran: Agnes needs a nice, fresh non-lumpy pillow.

Trout is visiting Agnes mighty early in the morning. Must have had an “uncle” sleep over.

Agnes is the innovator, Trout is the writer.

I named my pillow Lump-a-lump many years ago. 5 or 10 years ago my wife tried to get rid of it. The new pillow had no character. I let her keep it. I suspect that may have been what she wanted.

This could explain why the My Pillow guy is so popular.

you don’t know uncomfortable sleep until you visit a traditional japanese inn and get stuck with a traditional japanese pillow filled with buckwheat hulls…

When I was younger and we didn’t have much money growing up Mom would make our pillows, they looked a lot like Agnes’s, She would get some fabric and then she would take the filing out of an old chair or couch that was going to be thrown out and would cut it up into pieces and that was the filling for the new pillows she was making. They were ok for a couple of years then the filling got lumpy and started to shred from the washing machine and you just had to buy a pillow because could not sleep on those old home made ones. She did her best to accomdate the four of us until Dad was able to get a full time job and we were able to go off public assistance and had more money to buy things, me and my sister never went without growing up, mom and dad would go without so we didn’t have to and I am forever grateful for that and the love they gave us and still give.
