Technology is great tool, but a dangerous crutch. If your math is poor how can you verify someone didn’t tweak your calculator program to produce an incorrect amount? If you spell badly how can you verify the contract you’re signing says what the other person claims? Without reading and math skills someone will take advantage of you, and you likely won’t ever realize it.
Especially now that we have AI to do our thinking for us! Listening to a biography video the other day, it became obvious, after about 10 minutes of the subject’s name (Barbara) being pronounced correctly when, suddenly, it changed to (“Berra Berra”) and it was spoken like a place name with emphasis on “Street” (Della Street), not a personal name!
