Floof is now asleep?

Floof goes ploof! There is a nice homophonous feel to that.

She’s emulating that cat who slides into everything online.

I don’t know much about cats, but I’ve seen them playing in boxes. This is so cute!

Baseball would be much improved if played by teams of cats.

We had a long hair tuxedo cat (Alexander). He was a long cat, could stand on hind legs and put front paws on table or counter. Alex loved boxes. I don’t know how he did it but he could fold himself into a shoe box and not bow out the sides.

Floof will still be safe, even if she’s tagged…on Instagram.

Floof Ploofed. Which is far better than skidding uncontrollably into a kitchen cabinet. Sirius?

Floof’s action/balance in the first frame is perfect.

Nancy, how’d you know that many baseball players slide head-first? Tee-hee! Floof just looks so happy in the 1st panel!

And Sirius WOULD get a walk…ooh, double meaning…

Of course, up is down, and down is up, and Floof is both.

This strip puts me in mind of a female cat my family had when I was a child. Whenever my mom would go to the supermarket, she would get the groceries in paper bags and, as she emptied the bags, she would put the bags on the floor. Invariably, our cat would find the sack nearest to her and get in it.

Cats are joy.
