Of course cats rush to use a clean litterbox. I prefer to use a clean bathroom, too.

It’s worse when you dump the old litter, wash the tray and put in new litter. They love to use it fresh.

I had 2 that would watch me whenever I cleaned their box, just figured that they were supervising me. These same 2 cats would run towards the toilet whenever I flushed it if they were nearby.

I don’t like outhouses either (for those of you who even know what an “out-house” is!)… and I get very upset when my husband forgets to flush after using out toilet, and I go to use it!I … even just for #1, !!!! I have a friend who cleans her cat’s box several times a day!… and I have a sister that cleans her cat’s box every couple of days… and wonders why the cat sometimes leaves it’s business outside of the box!

When our 8-month-old tomcat misses the litter box the stench is AWFUL! I lay 4 puppy training sheets and center the box over them. Just roll up any soiled ones, stick in a small garbage bag & out the door! Quick room spray for good measure. All is forgiven – until he does it again!

I’d rather have a dog. They poo and pee outside and you just pick it up and throw it out in the garbage can. No mess inside or stink, or cleaning a box.

Same at our house, only my “Janis” doesn’t do the cleaning of it.

Our Persian Jeeves will not tolerate a dirty box anymore and will do it in the corner of the guest bathroom. So we now make sure to clean it almost every day!

Cat do love clean. I mean wouldn’t YOU? Ever been to a full outhouse? If you have, them maybe the gist of this cartoon might mean more to you?

With multiple cats, we have multiple litter boxes

I dont mind if one of them decides to inaugurate a fresh box, its when one of them leaves me something fresh in a box I’m just about to clean that gets to me

Since I have bird feeders hanging out, I don’t allow my cats outside. Years ago, my kid neighbor saw my cat in the window and asked me to bring him out. I did and my cat got so scared that he peed all down my shirt. The little girl had to come inside to see him. LOL
