I guess even Heart can change.

One time I was seven years old. The only reason I miss that age is because Hannah Barbera Godzilla cartoons were airing new episodes that year.

I like SpongeBob at 54 years old. It is refreshing silly, especially Patrick.

Ah SpongeBob, wisdom for the ages.

It may have been urban myth, but it was claimed that children’s cognitive abilities dipped slightly after watching Sponge Bob. True or not, I never let my daughters watch it, or any other show where stupidity was glorified.

What happened to you, SpongeBob? You used to be cool.

As a child I watched Capt Kangaroo, and Hoody Doody. Can’t get much more mindless than that.

I felt the same way after the first 4 or 5 seasons

Spongebob is 25 this year.

My great-niece introduced me to SpongeBob many years ago. She’s 18 and I’m 61 now, and we’re both still big fans!

Do we know what role she’s playing?

Cartoon tastes change rapidly for kids.

If you don’t like Spongebob anymore it’s not a sign that you’ve grown up, it’s a sign that you’re becoming a really boring person.
