    And they will be holding on to lamp posts and sign, feigning fighting against a strong wing. While half a dozen crew members toss water at them from just out of frame. Six times an hour. Until someone calls ‘lunch’! (I’ve done the blizzard version.)

    I remember when Geraldo Rivera would go out there to be battered by hurricanes winds. Millions of people would be glued to their TV sets shouting “Go, Hurricane! Get ’em!”

    speaking of nature, one of the hard-hitting stories a local station recently covered involved asparagus sprouting in a downtown median strip. seriously. i’m not making that up… ☺
