OUCH!!!

Even 30 is OLD when you are as old as the children are. When they are 30, even 40, they still are young.

My birfday

Our youngest once asked me how old I was, and I told her “I was born in 1942. How old does that make me?”

“NINETEEN FORTYTWO!”

Well, I’m old, but Crickey! It’s not as bad as all that.

Then she leaned over and whispered to her sister, “What year did Columbus discover America?”

From the perspective of a 70 yr old, he’s still a child.

Our Evangelical friends say, “Lordy, Lordy, look who’s forty!”.

“Never trust anyone over 30” was the meme of my youth. I’m over twice as untrustworthy now!

How true. From a kids perspective anyone over age 20 is a dinosaur and everything around them seems huge until they grow up. I recall visiting the 3 decker I grew up in and all the rooms looked tiny compared to what I remembered.

Nice try! It’s the beginning of the end! Hair loss! Joint pain! Suspicious freckles!

Man, I’d love to be forty again.

That should cheer him up.

When my wife got to 40 I threatened to trade her in on two 20’s. But found I wasn’t wired for 220.

he’ll need glasses and day now, and people will start calling him sir, and the mailings from AARP will become a deluge.

Age is a number but it can indicate the amount of wear and tear and that can be a real issue.

As a teenager I worked out that I would be 50 when the millennium happened and was afraid I’d be too old to party by then. I was right.

My sister is 10 years younger than me. I remember her asking how old I was when I turned 21. She commented on how OLD I was. I need to reminder her of this now that she’s nearly 45! LOL
