Phew, Fred, my first though was your Mr. Dear again would be yelling at you. Btw, Fred, the only good way to get rid of the little perishes (moles that is) is to youse the lawn much by running around. Moles hate noise and love to be under quiet lawns. So, go get your large bunch of lovely friends over, have lots of partys and games… But don’t, dont! dig up the vegetable patch or get in the compost heap!!! Enjoy your weekend!

As Fred himself has said, “What’s wrong with a dog’s life?” The moles may enjoy their lives much more than Fred realises.

Don’t get mad at the moles for enjoying your yard, that’s like blaming the fish for hanging around in the ocean.

Worse the moles groundhogs.

Unrelated, but Honey caught her first rat this week. She’s almost ten yo.

Wish I could catch and relocate the ones that have our yards in shambles.

holy moly or is it molely holey

We had moles. I went to the dermatologist to see if he could get rid of them, but he wouldn’t. I ended up using Milky Spore to kill the grubs that the moles were eating.

In the desert, we have mostly gophers and not moles. Is it assumed these are moles because it is the UK?

When I wake up to new mole mounds in the lawn, my wife tells me (in a mock German accent) that “The Underground was active during the night!”.

Fred you dig holes to bury your bones

We had moles one summer.Just one. Our dog Daisy dispatches every living thing that is in HER territory. She even leapt up in the air once to grab a mourning dove that was a little too slow taking off. Not only is the land her territory, but obviously the air, too.

You need a dachshund for this chore!
