Reminds me of the Amazon package that was half a metre square, packed full of packing peanuts simply to post a pen drive. A bit of overkill.

..this is a thing, sadly. Amazon shopping as a pastime..

The Joy is having a daily Amazon delivery.

She needs bigger and bigger boxes with more stuff.

The materialism culture reaches its zenith.

I buy auto parts on rock auto and eBay. They have better part number matching so I get the right part. I figure if I have to drive to an auto parts store, and they say they have to order it, I might as well order it myself.

The buzz that comes from buying things is always fleeting. Don’t fall into that trap. Buy what you need .

Used to be a package delivery was a rare and surprising experience. Now it just another “OMG more cardboard to recycle” chore.

The joy you get from opening, to the crushing feeling of once you see it and realize it looked bigger on the website.
