This whole rivalry between Nate and Godoffrey has to go eventually.

Why does this arc actually seem interesting now? For what I konw, Godfrey was never mentioned to be a softball pro, so looking forward to where this is going!!

Is it me or does Nate remind me of Yosemite Sam in the third and last panels? The big laugh followed by the “deer in the headlights” look and the slow stop of the laughter.

Mrs. Godfrey is sharpening her spikes, honing her chin music, and putting a nice sharp edge onto her trash talking.

Nate’s face looks really weird in the last strip.

Nate should have been tipped off by Mrs. Godfrey’s “new” glove and her asking him to soften it. That means she had previous ones and that she knew they work better when loosened up.
