They got so big that the flies steal and inhale bug spray just to get high. Yes, they like the “buzz”. ;-)

The risk equation: risk = threat x danger

“Threat” is how likely an event is; “danger” is how much damage it could do. Thus the risk of a mosquito bite (almost certain, trivial harm) is about the same as that of nuclear warfare (highly unlikely, devastating consequences). Most people are terrible at risk assessment.

So far the bug spray is working … the “bug” went away.

It isn’t bugging them any more (for now, anyway).

Cheapest campsite around.

What’s really bad is when the bugs return with the human spray.

I’m tryin’ to figure out what Moondog is holding. Looks like a lemon sucker, but the stick is yella’, too.

Or maybe he’s playin’ spoon.

Way too many. Men like to go camping, so they can wear the shorts with 14 pockets. And the vest, more pockets.

He should have gotten anti-bug spray instead of bug spray.

Yeah, but you can always catch your limit of three eyed fish.

BTW, long ago, I lived in Alaska in the interior. When I got back to the lower 48, I didn’t recognize mosquitos because they were so much smaller.

The nuclear power plant, huh? Wonder what Homer Simpson would have to say about this matter …

hmmm, so that’s why our bugs are so aggressive around these parts…

How big are the Flies? They are so big they require a landing strip.
