And which ones require a side dish. Any medication instructions that say “Take four times a day with food” just screams ‘Snacks’! Then the doctor asks how you managed to gain five pounds at your next visit to see how the medication is working.
seems like every time I eliminate a medication via natural supplements, change in diet, giving up a vice, my physician finds another reason to add a new medication.
At home we have a total of 5 day of the week boxes – one each for am pills (in the bedroom) one each for lunch & dinner pills (at the kitchen table) and one for him for bedtime – also at the kitchen table. I refill the boxes on Saturday nights.
When we travel we do so in Class B RV (camper van). Here I use those pill boxes where each day’s pills are in separate boxes for each day of the week. I use the am section for his am pills, the dinner section for his lunch and dinner pills and the bed time pills for his bed time pills – all of my pills go in the lunch section. At night I take out the box for the next day. He takes the night pills. We put the lunch/dinner pills in our pocket pill boxes to have them when out the next day. I put the box for the next day on his end of the “counter”. He takes his am pills when he gets up and then puts the box on my end of the counter for me to take. Empty box goes into THE (only) drawer for later.

Two sets a day. Make coffee, set out pills. Feed dogs, take pills. Easy to remember.

This is why I sort all my pills out once a week and put them in a pill box.
