Pitiful.

Explaining our phones to someone in the last century might be like this: this phone has more computing power than the computers that handled the Apollo missions. We use it to watch cat videos and argue with total strangers.

But computers were humans then, not machines. Actually users of machines in some cases, especially if you consider slide rules as machines.

I have my landline.

That’s the truth! Look at TV shows now and presidential choices!

It isn’t hard to be smarter than people, the only species that murders their own for no apparent reason …and thinks that is OK.

Even worse: smart bombs and dumb politicians.

My old rotary phone was smarter than some people.

Actually not true Aunty. We are actually living in an age where our phones aren’t as stupid as our people.

And yes there is a difference.

Some phones, some people..

Certainly more useful than some people.

A lot of them haven`t been since the advent of the push button phone.

Most things are smarter than people any way.

phones cannot be smart, they are just a tool with a lot of capability. it is how they gets used that can be dumb or smart.
