Which particular peril? Does he think that there’s a draft?

Memorial Day is when we pay our respects to those who made the ultimate sacrifice in military service to our nation. Most of us think of them as heroes, but a former commander in chief calls them “losers” and “suckers”. Not just the ones who were killed, anyone who served at all! So if you’re a veteran, that’s what he thinks of YOU. And if you know some vets, that’s what he thinks of THEM. So do remember that on Nov. 5, when you’ll have a very meaningful opportunity to indicate what you think of HIM!

Prayers for the fallen, the wounded, the damaged, and their families, loved ones, and caregivers. Without your courage, life in the last 100 years would have been very different. Thank you.

Sorry kid, but if you didn’t grow up watching kids just a few years older than you getting drafted, that “peril” is pretty remote.

No 3rd grader would think of the reality of what Memorial Day means and be afraid or distressed UNLESS they had lost someone close recently. For kids, it’s just a day off school and that’s what matters.

A local paving company, owned by a fake patriot, has a giant “Happy Memorial Day” message board sign and many American flags. We’re not celebrating those who died in wars you bonehead.

I would think that if you were close to enlistment / draft age if war is declared, then that would cause stress.
