Funny to see conservatives supporting Butker’s worldview. Are you folks telling Marjorie Taylor-Greene, Lauren Boebert, Kristi Noem, the other 32 Republican women Congressional representatives, the 9 female Republican Senators, all the female Republican local and state elected officials, and all working women inside and outside government to quit your ungodly working life and go home?

A traditional Catholic gives a commencement address to 845 graduate at a small Catholic liberal arts college in Kansas. Big deal. Trump draws a crowd of 100,000 in New Jersey. Biden speaks to approximately 500 graduates at Morehouse College. Who gave the most significant address? Whose address was the most controversial? Take your pick.

“woke”, much like ‘politically correct’, is simply showing consideration for your fellow American, this time American women. conservatives try to demonize those terms. Do conservatives oppose showing consideration, or just oppose American women?

Women have been property for thousands of years. They still are for some people and that is the bottom line. The only troubling part is the rhetoric in which some try to dress it. As for his be unapologetic about your masculinity. That ambiguous sentiment usually comes from insecure men or men who need props to prove themselves. But this is coming from a kicker who sees little field time and is constantly surrounded by the biggest strongest athlete in the country.

If you are silent about your beliefs, because you are worried someone will be offended, then your beliefs are not that important to you but rather what people think about you is. When you stand up for what is right and true, you will receive both hate and love, but everyone will know what you are fighting for.

Amazing how even people like Dana Summers who communicate for a living don’t have a clue as to the meaning of the word “woke”! It is in Merriam Webster, but no one cares about what the word means. They prefer to run with the made up definition bad politicians came up with to scare the rubes and dupes! From Merriam Webster: “Woke: aware of and actively attentive to important societal facts and issues; especially issues of racial and social justice.”

We’ve ALWAYS been in ( a sort of ) “post-God territory”. By demeaning “woke” we are opposing prophetic witness.Prophecy, you see, is more about commenting on the failings of society (mankind’s inhumanity…) than about predicting the future. So…what’s the problem w/ “woke”?

Harrison makes a big pro football salary, so his wife can stay home and be a Good Wifey Handmaiden. How many of you right-wingers cheering his 1950 worldview are similarly financially secure, and can do without your wives’ salaries?

He is entitled to his opinion, nice spoiled (by his mother’s high-paying job) Catholic boy earning millions due to his DNA and out of touch with reality. Welcome to 2024, MAGA style. Friends with Josh Hawley? “Nuff said. The kick was wide right.
