Thanks, Dave, for remembering. You’ve made me laugh so many times, it’s only fair that you made me cry today.

Memorial Day, you say??? Most people will be at the malls for those fabulous sales!!!!

I thank every person that is serving now and in the past.

Honour their sacrifice.

I honor our fallen heroes every day, but on Memorial Day, I praise them immensely!

Thank you all who served. You are remembered. Great strip today!

As a veteran who made it back, I thank you very much for this, Dave.

When you’re in the military, you sacrifice a lot but those we remember today made the ultimate sacrifice.

Amen to that!!

They made it possible for us to sleep soundly at night, to play in the park and have barbecues. They made it possible for us to enjoy our lives without looking over our shoulders in fear. They made it possible for us to enjoy the comics page and for artists, like [redacted], to post their works for us to laugh at and shed a few tears over.

In honor of the two Purple Heart recipients in my family and in honor of my Aunt who served in the WAC during WWII.

Wow. I love the saluting shadow behind the grave. Very moving.
