I see ads on TV for backup generators that turn on when the main power goes off. Maybe Walt should look into buying one.

Uh oh, looks like the electricity is out all over Gasoline Alley! I guess electricity has decided, in the wake of the rejection of the proposed “Electric Acres” renaming, that it isn’t wanted there any more. And who can blame it? Tough luck, Walt! Enjoy drinking your precious gasoline, in the dark!

I wonder if Gertie will quit once she realizes that Walt will outlive her.

Is Gertie trying to torment him by shining a flashlight in his face? That isn’t a nice way to treat a 131 year-old.
