that’s eleven “different” movies – twelve if you add the 1954 film

Movies and video games that portray impossible feats with guns and cars make the ability to cause and endure death and destruction seem seductive. Does it siphon off our fantasies toward violence … or enhance them? Does it depend on the age of the viewer?

Guys like those!

I like the one where that guy does something impossible in his car.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that….(and not showing any feet today!)

Leroy seems more the Oceans 11 type

Did you really expect Leroy not to stack the deck, Loretta? And, didn’t you do the same with your choices?

Those are stupid movies Leroy. “Noss”? May I suggest a good Tarantino film, or perhaps The Big Lebowski? Over here we just watch whatever is on TCM.

My choices would be of the Ghibli-verse.

Loretta seem like love story tearjerker movies

It’s no fair that he didn’t choose a movie she likes.

It all evens out. All of hers will be plotless black-and-white films featuring old people who are always in hats and gloves and wearing tuxedos to family dinner at home even when there’s no company coming. Seen one, seen ’em all.

That’s alright, you can stay in your room and watch the Hallmark Channel.

What’s wrong with car movies? They rock!

Good God. Leroy’s taste in movies is even worse than his taste in women!

They should watch “On Golden Blonde”

What does it matter? They will both fall asleep within minutes.

And this is a problem why?
