The speech was so good that the spider just stood there in awe instead of consuming Phoebe.

The spider was going to bug her, but changed it’s mind!

But she was perfectly safe. The Tentacle Spider was only lurking there admiring the tentacles it spied on Phoebe’s forelegs. It rarely sees such things in a land of hoofed Unicorns.

…FINGERS!! Yeah, that’s what they’re called.

Now EVERYONE who reads this strip will want to see that unique spider.

Either it was Cthulhu making a “Carlton the Doorman” guest appearance, or the author is testing out possible characters that will freak out multiple types of phobic people at once.

I’m so disappointed we didn’t get to see the tentacle spider.

Since we’ve never seen tentacle spiders, it’s likely the tentacle spider had never seen a human before. Maybe it left her alone to be on the safe side.

Why do Unicorns leave these very dangerous spiders free to roam around during their meetings?
