What has Sam been smoking … or dropping ? The ladies know B.S. when they read it. P.3.’s Lee has some pretty neat expressioning going on while Lizz looks less like herself than ever. (Time for Chuck to go back to bed. LOL)
panels 2 and 3 serves no purpose in advancing the story… a waste of space only to show Sam feeding his face and then to show Lee and Lizz in the most unflattering of expressions…
Whether it’s Eric or Mike writing the strip these days, it seems the “investigation” mainly consists of members of the MCU hanging around the office, talking to each other, while drinking coffee or feeding their faces. Even the artwork seems uninspired today. 1 & 1/2 stars.
OK, let’s settle this because I feel there’s no pleasing you guys. I don’t know if I can share my email address on here but some of y’all know how to contact me on facebook. I want at least 10 good Lizz references sent to me because apparently the ones I have are worthless. I’m old enough to know that character designs evolve over time with every new artist and cultural shift and I’m ok with it as long as the core of the character is represented. Rather than keep beating me up about hair and makeup, SHOW me and help me understand what and WHY Lizz looks the way she does. Put up or shut, Tracy fans! Be part of the process. Love ya, mean it.
An hour later, Sam was missing and, other than a few faint sounds from the broom closet, hastily explained as ‘those darned ghosts,’ nobody had a clue.
Tune in tomorrow for THE BIG TIME OUT, a Stealin’ Sam Nonoscond Mystery! Guest sleuth Millip Pharlow.
1-LEE: A new deli opened right around the corner? LIZ: And they’re offering free pastrami sandwiches?
2-LEE: Yep. You’d have to be a fool to continue going to that shop with the poison-dispensing teapots!
3-SAM: A loyal fool you mean! Wait. “FREE?” Next door? CRASH!
LEE: There goes another door! HA! LIZ: Sheesh. That’s the second time this week he’s fallen for that gag. DT: (off panel): DAM MIT! YOU TWO ARE GONNA PAY FOR THE NEW DOOR THE NEXT TIME YOU PULL THAT STUNT!
I gotta wonder if Costello has a “Russian Author” complex the way he drags things out. He must have binged on War and Peace, Crime and Punishment and the Brothers Karamazov in a couple days

Good morning™, everyone!
Sam reads the rag while munching his sandwiches, apparently. I think this is the second time the two women gave disapproving looks to Sam.

LIZZ: Here’s one of their items: “Deli which served up poison to customer now secretly serves up free brisket to MCU detective.”

Are Charles and Eric on The Friends Of Sam Catchem’s List for making him look stoopid in today’s strip? Does that present a problem for TFOSC?

Sam likes the grocery store scandal rags, eh? Get ready for a crossover from Bat Boy.
I hope he wears his furry costume.
