Thus spinach is the opposite of popcorn.

The spinach song (Popeye) is much better than the Jolly Green Giant’s green bean song.

Saute with bits of bacon, add a bit of wine vinegar and pepper. With a glass of wine and a piece of sour dough…..yummm.

I love spinach — raw and sautéed.

Rabbits seem to like spinach, ask my wife why her’s isn’t growing so well in the garden.

I’d do it with eggs for a morning punch of good protein in the diet.

I need a dog to have someone to talk to.

Being in a bilingual country it is packaged as Spinach épinards, at first glance my mind sees spinach innards

As said in a New Yorker cartoon (decades ago) ……. I say it’s spinach and I say the H**L with it.

Spinach should be enjoyed raw. I like to chop mine up finely with avocado, goat cheese and turkey slices, also finely chopped, with some basil and a bit of salt, mixed together and scooped onto a rice cracker. My body smiles while I’m eating. (❁´◡`❁)

It’s bad because it doesn’t shrink down to completely nothing.

I grew up in that time and remember begging my mom to buy canned spinach so I could build my muscles. Nastiest stuff ever!! I swore off of it that day. But mom had bought 3 cans and made me finish all of them. And I never did get muscles.

The good part of spinach is the fiber, not the water.

I, too, thought of Popeye and his spinach on this one. More for him, I guess, since I’m not a fan.

Perfect with wine vinegar and Mom always had slices of hard boiled egg on top. By the way, we have a Lab who has 1/2 can of drained green beans on her 1 cup of dry morning and night and loves it. Vet recommended for bulk and fiber and our pup thinks it’s super! But this dog also eats raw dandelions!
