Alito vies to be THE MAGAt Posterboy.

The flag, then, is just the latest reminder of a disturbing reality: that as the con party further radicalizes against democracy, the supreme court – the body which is tasked with checking these unconstitutional impulses – has become their ally. The rule of law cannot be relied on to stem the tide of rising authoritarianism, because our legal institutions have been captured by the rwnj authoritarians…

The justice is perfectly aware that he does not need to pretend to neutrality, or hide his partisan loyalties, or behave, with anything like a convincing effort, like his work on the court is motivated by the law and not his own reactionary political preferences. Alito knows that he does not need to maintain any pretext of integrity, intellectual commitment or seriousness in his work. The supreme court has accumulated enough power to itself – and the justices have done a sufficiently good job of insulating themselves from any accountability or consequence – that he doesn’t even think he needs to lie any more. He’s comfortable being a partisan operative right out in the open.

And why shouldn’t he? He’s not even the worst offender. After all, Clarence Thomas has not recused himself from insurrection-related cases, either, even though his wife, Ginni, was a full on supporter of the insurrection…

The trumpers say the left that is nasty and decisive. Yet we have been seeing the “fluck you feelings” flages and FJB for over 4 tears. As always, an accusation from a trumper is an admission.

The ‘visible’ Republican Party acts as if this type of behavior is normal!

We should have taken to the streets when Obama was denied his choice for the Supreme Court. And we should have done it again when Barrett was rammed through in such a short time to replace Ginsburg. We have just sat by and watched as aggressive monsters have changed the course of our history as a country for their own personal gain.

Same to Alito.

It is amazing how one man, Trump, could cause such corruption and division in our country and government. I long for the good old, pre-trump days!!!

The Alito court thinks they are demigods.

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic;

the corrupt upside down " Justice" is shredding the Constitution

That says it all!

MAGAt hero Alito is their idea of non partisan.

Oh, yes it is…in every way that matters.

SCOTUS dragged down the gutter.

His brain has turned upside down. Put him in a home.
