Yeah, it’s never fun to be drawn into another person’s lie. Mrs. Dear should’ve just said they wouldn’t be able to make it. On the up side, you can’t be blamed, and I don’t think the Simpson’s will be asking you about it.

Fred doesn’t like being lied about and certainly doesn’t like someone pretending that he isn’t well. However, he will benefit from the lie as he doesn’t like the Dears going out and leaving him alone in the house.

Don’t upset yourself! It’s not about you, Fred!
