the last time we went to a movie (which was a long time ago), my wife had her purse so filled up with popcorn and stuff, it was blatantly obvious to a blind man what she was doing!…(naturally, I refused to partake of her contraband during the movie…)
Happy to say that I can’t remember the last time any movie theater employee fussed with me or my wife over what we might be bringing in to the theater. My wife can carry a couple of candy bars from the supermarket or convenience store in her bag, and no one says boo. And it’s been a long time since I saw an usher (or as they sometimes called them in the olden times, a “matron”).

She had her eye on him for a long time. He was acting squirrely when he bought a ticket. (“Un Pleezh”.)
